what do you mean by an indie shop? i think this refers to a shop that doesn't require money --- it just requires a one-time exchange. i think certain institutions of training and instruction actually require a system of tuition payment involving "bond payment" --- this of course, refers to a different kind of institution. for example, at my college, assumption, it requires a certain tuition for one taking the scholarship program, however, it takes family connections to be properly enrolled. it is a boarding school.
