They actually gave you a removable love lock that's from them and not the one you love. You can even swallow it and digest it. Although later you will have to go to the bathroom anyway.

I am looking further into this. What is with a human and small objects? Relatively insignificant they seem, I wonder if their lover is really knowledgeable  about the things that you like and your interests.
